DESCRIPTION

The whimsical yet elegant design of this exquisite sculpture is characterized by the striking contrasting colors of its unconventional shape. The conical structure is made of green onyx from Pakistan with a circular base in black Marquinia. The top is a large circular black Marquinia disc with a half-sphere in light blue onyx decorated by four large rings of black Marquinia on top. The overall effect is of refined simplicity, enhanced by the polished finish and geometric frame. Defined by angular proportions and contrasting tones, this one-of-the kind centerpiece will stand out in any decor. Design by Michele De Lucchi, 1985.
